REAL Leverage…

REAL Leverage... And It's Been Starin' at You The Whole Time!

The kind that doesn’t shout, but if you’re listening, it opens the gate.

✨Not All Conversations Are Created Equal

Some sell a product. Some sell a service.

But the best ones?

They shift something deeper. They unlock momentum, quietly crackin' the jar... and show someone they were never the problem.

That’s the kind of conversation this playbook was built for.

Not loud, pushy. or “designed to convert.”

This is for the quiet closers💥 The pattern seers💥 The high-trust operators💥

The ones who don’t cold call, but get warm invites. They don’t pitch hard, but land deep. The kind who aren’t just selling… they’re realigning reality.

🔁 Introducing...

The SPIN Selling Playbook...  Rewired for the Asynchronous Era

This is not your average sales script. It’s a rhythm. A mirror. A conversation map for those of us who...

👉Build deals in inboxes, NOT boardrooms

👉Unlock value in dormant assets and underutilized IP

👉Move like trusted partners, NOT pushy closers

👉Know when to speak… and when to reflect

Based on Neil Rackham’s legendary SPIN Selling framework... but “Rebuilt for behind-the-scenes dealmakers”, and trust-first world we live in now.

💥 What You’ll Learn Inside:

S – SITUATION

Mirror where they are. Name the fog they’ve gotten used to. Show them you see what they’ve almost stopped seeing themselves.

P – PROBLEM

Surface the drag they’ve normalized. Expose the energy leaks they’ve adapted around. Hold the mirror steady, not sharp.

I – IMPLICATION

Connect the dots. Stretch the impact. Help them feel what else stays stuck when this doesn’t move.

N – NEED-PAYOFF

Let them imagine the shift. Reflect their future back to them with clean language and no pressure. Let the desire rise naturally.

But Understand...

This isn’t for everyone.

This is for the operator who,

👈👆Like me...

🔷Plays the long game

🔷Moves with clarity, not urgency

🔷Revives value others have overlooked

🔷Leads quietly, but lands powerfully

The kind that parts the veil—for those with eyes to see.

  1. I think that there is an art to this type of marketing, and it is great that Neil Rackhams book (Spin-Selling) helps with this, as you really need to think outside of the box for this and it is not easy.

I was always taught to use pain points to try and sell a product, but that isn’t even working as well as it used to, so it just goes to show that you never stop learning, as there are always newer and better techniques out there.

So it seems the slow sell is on the rise. What do you find most challenging about coming up with ideas for marketing with these techniques?

    1. You’re spot on, Michel!

There IS an art to it.

And SPIN Selling, when you really tattoo it to your bones, doesn’t just give you tactics… it rewires how you listen.

The old “poke the pain” approach?

That bad boy’s been consigned to the elephant graveyard.

      Peeps are sharp.

      Reflexively guarded.

      And if they feel manipulated…

      Goodbye, Mr Chips!

That’s why the slow sell is so powerful, it invites someone into a deeper conversation on their terms, not ours.

And yeah, it’s simple, not easy.

      The most challenging part?

Not coming up with ideas, but resisting the urge to be all convincy.
Sometimes the best move is to say less and let the space do the work (if that makes sense?)

Appreciate you being part of this conversation, Michel…

‘Cause, it’s thinkers like you who keep the craft alive.

  2. Dedo, this post hit home for me. As someone building multiple online platforms, I constantly wrestle with the situation of wanting to grow while staying authentic.

You beautifully pointed out the problem, chasing influence without first being genuinely helpful and clear. It made me reflect on how that approach can lead to burnout and disconnect (implication).

Your encouragement to focus on providing real value, mastering clarity, and solving meaningful problems is the payoff we all need to hear.

Thank you for reminding us what true leverage really looks like!

    1. Alice… so glad this one landed for you.

And I hear you loud and clear…

…walking that line between growth and authenticity in the digital space?

      It’s no small thing.

So easy to get swept up in metrics, algorithms, and noise… losing touch with the real heartbeat of the work… service, clarity, value.
Not just chasing reach, but resonance.

‘Cause, this is what most miss…

Burnout isn’t a failure of ambition – it’s often a symptom of misaligned effort.
And it’s powerful that you’re reflecting on it before it starts costing more than it needs to (OUCH!)

      Keep building with depth.
      And solving real problems.
Because that’s the kind of leverage that scales without selling your soul.

Grateful to have you here, Alice

  3. I’m still working on the Salesman mindset. Having worked engineering most of my life I never understood what the whole sales business entails. The whole process is one where you need to be on top of your game to be able to do any good. Engineering is easier! At least for me. Anything to help is good!

I requested your SPIN literature while I was reviewing.

    1. Ken, I’ve got you covered.

Just sent you an email with the S.P.I.N. Playbook to feast on… zero sleaze, zero pressure, all signal.

Think of it like engineering for trust… structured, elegant, and built to move the right levers without ever forcing the gear.

      Appreciate your openness here, Ken.

Sales can feel like a foreign language at first, but once you learn how to listen for the right cues, it becomes less about persuasion and more about resonance.

We don’t do convincy… We favour alignment!

Check your inbox… It’s waiting for you.
