It’s easy to feel trapped...

You start an online business for the FREEDOM it provides.

Eventually being stuck in a tug-of-war between success, popularity, and the constant uphill battle for continued growth. The more success... the more dough is needed.

(NO, not the goo to bake bread)

More subcribers... More Likes... And MORE SALES!!!

Your company’s bank account mirrors your own emotions...

A rollercoaster of inconsistency, imbalance, and instability.

(where's the medical cabinet!)

You left the rat race, only to find yourself on a 6- or 7-figure hamster wheel.

FK that!

The Big Yellow Door

"Bo Boothroid made me feel like his best friend for over 25 yrs"

And I'm sure I was one of many best friends on earth to Bo.

That's the way he was.

Bo built secret relationships with everyone.

And as a result he always got the best.

Bo would say "Somewhere . . there's always a yellow door."

I'll never forget a story he shared when he went to a business fair in Florida.

And there was the AT&T exhibit.

It was the most popular pitch at the fair.

The queues were mind numbing.

And Bo's standing in line and he looks over and sees a yellow door on the side of the building.

Like a service entrance or something.

And he goes over and knocks on the yellow door.

And begins a typical Bo Boothroid conversation with whoever opens the door.

And he and his wife are suddenly inside the exhibit.

They're not at the head of the line, but...

In the ACTUAL exhibit.

Bo laughed when he told the story.

He told me to always look around because there's always a yellow door.

And when you get there be prepared to make a friend.

Now's your chance, open that door and say HI!

P.S: They'll never be a line for you my friend...

  1. Hi Dedo,
Your post “Boost’a Dee Online Saleseo” offers an intriguing take on online business success, focusing on the importance of personal connections and unique approaches.

The story about Bo Boothroid and the “Big Yellow Door” metaphor effectively illustrates the power of thinking outside the box and building relationships.

However, I’m curious about how this concept applies in today’s highly digitalized market. How can online businesses boost genuine connections in an environment often criticized for being impersonal?
Thank you for your work and sharing this creative perspective!

    Warm regards,
    Makhsud

    1. Hey Makhsud!

      Great to reconnect, my friend!

Totally vibing with you on the whole A.I. and virtual reality scene.

      And you know what?

If more business people were to use the internet like a BIG yellow door (like I mentioned) and NOT a funnel/queue…

…where everyone and their dog is syphoned off to be processed, Striped, and Paypaled.

      Then, maybe…

This is the “GAP” that’s missing and NEEDS filling?

      So…

Hope this shines some light on your curiosity my friend.

      Have a great day.

  2. This is a really nice story.

I feel like it gave me something to think about and reflect on. How I interact with the world, and how I interact with other people.

I feel like most of us are all too afraid to approach the yellow door, and instead choose to follow the crowd. But following the crowd will always get you to where they’re heading: the regular, traditional path.

Being the one to step away from the crowd, muster up your courage, and knock on the door, that’s what’s going to get you in the top 1%. That’s when you’re going to start going places.

Thank you for this reminder. I think I really needed it.

    1. Hey Ursidae! (what a unique name)

I’m sooo pumped you surfed the message on the right wave.

A wave that will take you to new, fresh, prosperous heights!

And it has nothing to do with confidence, how good you look, how clever you are, etc.

      Like you’ve stated…

It’s to do with how much “Courage” you can muster.

To jump on that wave, no matter how daunting!

Thanks for such a thoughtful comment my friend.

      Have a great day.

  3. Fascinating read! Your “Big Yellow Door” metaphor resonates deeply, especially in today’s digital marketplace, where genuine connections often take a backseat to efficiency. It’s intriguing how Bo Boothroid’s approach merges opportunity-seeking with personal touch.

In your view, how can online businesses effectively integrate this philosophy? Particularly, what strategies could blend the efficiency of digital platforms with the warmth of personal connections? It seems like a delicate balancing act between leveraging technology and maintaining human-centric interactions.

    1. Hey Sonia!

What a great compliment (you’re makin’ me blush🤗)

      And I agree…

What with the introduction of A.I., there’s the potential for even more dis-connect!

      I mean…

Don’t know about you, but I remember way back, when the internet crashed onto the scene. People –  even then used to “hide” behind the screen, and act in ways they wouldn’t “normally.”

And it seems to be gettin’ worse!

      Thing is…

In my view – this is a great opportunity to connect MORE deeply than ever before (I think folk deep down are gettin’ messed up with all this tech)

      So…

Treat people like you would a close friend.

      With respect, love, and kindness.

And of course, if you’re privy to new knowledge that can improve their life…

      Go for it!

Hope this helps Sonia, all the best.

  4. You have brought up some important points in your article for people who start an online business. It is true many people give up after the first year or two.

The Yellow Door is very inspirational and tempting. We must stay motivated and never give up no matter how things seem to be going.

I would like to say “Hi” and open that yellow door.

    Jeff

    1. Hey Jeff!

      How’re you doin’?

And thanks for stoppin’ by to say hi (means a lot to me)

      I don’t know about you Jeff…

But I’ve had plenty of times in my life when things are freakin’ tough, and I feel like givin’ up.

      Thing is…

And I don’t know if this is a curse.

Although… the more that “stuff” challenges me… the more I’m likely to push back (I know – insane huh?)

      The thing is…

      (it’s a cliche, I know)

Most of the challenges are inside my head!!!

Some days are good… some days are bad… most days are brill! (so as long as we keep it balanced huh?)

Hope this message finds you well Jeff.

Just realize you ain’t on your own.

      Have a great day.

      Always in your corner.

      Dedo (Chief MEME Officer)
