Standing Out!

"How To Stand Out In Business Even If You're A Shrinkin' Violet!"

It's not how loud you shout that wins peoples adoration and attention (have you noticed dat?)

I mean...

Imagine standing in a jam-packed train station (thousands of people milling around), and someone's screaming blue fks at the top of

their lungs!

Yeah, it'll certainly get your attention, but It'll also fire up your "fight or flight - take some action mojo" right?

Because - and get this...

...no-one likes their personal space invaded without a welcome mat. It's not only rude, but will cause all sorts

of karma.

And it's the same online.

Most online marketers SHOUT for the sale, thinking the louder their offer the more response...

Over HERE - "Buy My Bright Shiny Shiz!"

Before it runs out...

don't get left behind, blah, blah, blah.

But, you can do better than that - MUCH better.

How To Stand Out Without Actin' like a FOG HORN on Roids!

Riddle me this...

Who's your biggest influence in life?

You can't see them...

You can't hear them...

You can't touch, or smell them?

But they're to blame for every decision you've ever made up 'till now.

And although they're invisible...

YOU feel them like a hot bed of fire - whenever you make a decision in life.

I bet (by now) you can guess what I'm talking about huh?

Well, if you can't here it is...

The energy moving inside your body - Energy in Motion... E=MOTIONS

Heard it all afor ain't ya?

Psssst, come closer, you're gonna love this...

What you're about to discover will put you streets ahead of the crowd - And add mountains of wealth to your bottom line.

Big claim I know!

But, give it a go (you can thank me later).

Here goes...

Take a deep, Deep, DEEP dive into "WHO's" your market -  and discover one, two, or three things that keep them up at night.

Something they think about most of their waking life...

Now...

Make the list, and think of as many situations where your product or service will sweep away those hot coals.

What I'm writing here for you is a tried and tested "FORMULA"

Here's a little ditty showing the simplicity & value of standing out...

"I finally broke down and bought a new TV."

I don't watch TV much, but I do enjoy a good movie once in a while.

The old set was over 10 years old.

So, I paid someone to take it away.

And because the pricing for these huge SMART TVs have plummeted,
I was practically forced by the other half to open my wallet!

So I called Big J, my internet guy, to get us all hooked up.

Jay squeezed me in on a same day appointment.

Now -  he's ringing the bell at the door.

I open . .

I invite him in.

But before he enters, he stops and reaches into his pocket.

He pulls out a pair of baby blue plastic booties.

Jay struggles to balance as he slips the booties over his shoes.

He didn't want to track dirt into my home.

And when he went outside to mess with the cable wire, he'd take
them off again.

He would put them on every time he entered or exited our home.

On again.

Off again.

Jay was kind, curteous, and professional.

He got my internet working on my new TV, without fuss, hastle, or dirt!

He did what I would have expected from any other internet guy.

But it's the blue plastic booties I'll never forget.

So, it doesn't have to be complex... just "thoughtful" small things that no-one else does.

  1. Hey!

I love the comparison between standing out in business and avoiding the “foghorn on roids” hahah it’s so relatable!

Personally, sometimes i struggle to navigate the fine line between being noticed and being too loud in my business? I think that it also depends of the person you have in front, whether it’s a colleague or a client.

Some people are more sensible and some less. What is your personal experience and how do you personally deal with that ? Can be nice to have your point of view on that!

    Thanks for this article!

    1. Hey Leonardo!

Great to reconnect, my amigo! Listen up…

What I was getting at about standing out goes way beyond just the surface shiz…

It’s about NOT just entertaining folks, but sparking those jaw-dropping AHA moments.

      Picture this:

Unveiling their problems, spotlighting the solutions – whether you’re chatting with a buddy, a coworker, or a high-profile client. I mean, who doesn’t crave those mind-blowing new perspectives?

(Exluding the bat-shit crazy mo fo’s of course… there ain’t NO helpin’ doze folk!)

We’re all on this quest for a life that’s full of fun, wealth, health and laughter.

      So spill it, Leonardo…

How deep are you diving into other people’s worlds to snag what YOU want?

That’s the secret sauce to standing tall in a sea of me, me, MEEE crowd.

      So…

Make it your mission to be THE guiding star for all those lost souls –  steering them toward the safe haven of joy, prosperity, and laughter.

      Stay legendary my friend!

  2. Hi Dedo,
Your blog post “Standing Out” is a vibrant and unconventional take on distinguishing oneself in business. Your approach to avoid being a “fog horn on roids” and instead focusing on meaningful engagement is refreshing. However, I’m curious about how you would apply this philosophy in more conservative industries where boldness might be frowned upon. Is there a balance between being distinctive and adhering to industry norms?
Thank you for your work and sharing.

    Best regards,
    Makhsud

    1. Hello again Makhsud!

And thanks for engaging like you do (I can tell you’re a success in business and life).

      Also…

To answer your question about how to engage different industries.

      Well…

If you dive in DEEP and discover the “voice” of your market. All you’ve got to do is mirror this stance.

Because, as you’re aware, in different businesses there are different “rules”… although, most humans no matter their cultural upbringing or status – want to laugh, have fun, and discover the sh*t that helps them sleep better at night.

So, maybe tone the language down a morsal, but keep the same principles in place.

These principles are timeless, and work wherever, and to whomever you’re communicating with.

      Hope this helps my friend…

      Have a great day.

  3. This blog nails it! Shouting for attention isn’t the way to go. The analogy of a crowded train station is spot on — loud doesn’t equal effective.

The emphasis on understanding your audience deeply is key. Dive into their emotions and concerns; that personal touch is game-changing.

“Energy in Motion” adds a unique twist, highlighting the emotional aspect of decision-making.

Addressing your audience’s struggles and failed attempts? Brilliant. Position your product as the genuine solution, not just a sale.

In a world of noise, this blog stands out. It’s a reminder to connect on a personal and emotional level for a more impactful marketing strategy. Great insights!

    1. Hey Herman!

Thanks for you perspective my friend, (means a lot)

      Have a great day.
