How To Come Up With Great Ideas... Make Sure They Work... & Exactly How To Put Them Into Action.

So You Can Start Living The DREAM!

If you just stop, and take a look around you for a moment, it'll come as no surprise to see many things you take for granted that started as an idea in someone's head.

  • Light bulb
  • Electricity
  • Fresh running water
  • Central heating
  • The house you're living in
  • Your computer.
  • Your car... and the list goes on and on!

But have you ever sat and wondered how these folk come up with such  world changing nuggets?

I mean...

Some folk are lucky, and stumble into ideas, but the truth is...

Most people who have great insights go through a three-step process which includes these bad boys...

  1. Idea Generation (coming up with the idea)
  2. Idea Validation (making sure it'll work in the real world)
  3. Idea Implementation (putting it out there, and changing the world)

The good news is...

You're in luck!

Because, I'm going to show you a shit load of ideas, tips, tricks and hacks across all three parts. So, strap into your seat and lets get started...

Idea Generation

Ever get stuck when it comes to coming up with great ideas?

Well...

This won't ever happen again once you've binged on all these tips and ways to generate all the ideas you'll ever be able to handle.

Check them out...

Two Great Ways To Capture Ideas

Use your phone. You can record your ideas using videos or sound files. Better yet, use an app like EverNote.com, which is geared towards those who want to capture ideas.

Or you can use the old school method of pen and paper. A small notebook that fits in your pocket works like gangbusters.

But get this...

Whatever method you decide to use, make sure you always keep it handy. Which means having it with you in the car, next to your bed, at work, and everywhere else you go.

The "idea" here, is to (when the thought pops up in your head) get in out, and onto something permanent, because thoughts are like farts in a wind tunnel.

One minute they're there... and the next - they're GONE forever!

The Good Ole Brain Dump!

Listen...

If you want to create better ideas, then you need to start leaving time aside for brainstorming sessions. Check out these tips...

  • Set out at least 20 to 30 minutes straight, without any interruption.

  • Brainstorm as quickly as possible. Write (or type) everything quickly, without pausing to think and ponder what you've just written. In other words don't evaluate the thoughts that are popping up in your head... just get them on paper quick sharpish!

  • Don't censor your ideas. Write EVERYTHING down, even if it seems silly or non-sensical.

In the following two segments, you'll notice some lovely blue tags.

  • Utilize Story boarding

Map Your Ideas

Some people don't like to brainstorm in linear ways. So, if you're part of this group, then you'll want to try mind mapping. This is where you start with a central idea in the middle of your page, and then "branch out," with ideas that spring from your central idea. Your secondary ideas may also have branches (and so on).

For example...

Your central idea may be "dog." Secondary ideas may include training, health, socialization and similar ideas. You may also branch out from these ideas. For example, "training" may have branches such as house training, obedience training, trick training and similar.

Spy on Your Competitors...

One sneaky way to generate ideas is to keep a beady eye on what your competitors are up to. This means checking out the following...

  • Blog posts.
  • Emails / newsletters.
  • Social media posts.

And the best part about checking social media (and sometimes blog posts) is you'll simultaneously get an idea of whether it's popular based on how many people like, share and comment on it. Just make sure to also read visitor comments which may generate even more content, product, service and / or business ideas.

Okay...

I'll close for now, 'cause you don't want to get information overload.

Let these ideas soak in and come back soon to discover tons more tips, tricks, and examples of how to come up with great ideas for changing the world!
