Quality Products Your Customers Would Die For?

"Do You Know How To Create High-Quality Products Your Customers Would Die To Get Their Hands On?"

If Not, read on...

So,  you've taken the time to research your market and you now know your products are something your audience wants. Here's the next step in developing those bad boys into high-quality, problem solving, desire boostin' people pleasers!

Because, if you get this part right, you'll have first time buyers coming back at you, again and again, for a very long time.

And, with that in mind, let's take a look at how to create products your audience will be willing to die for...

The Crucial Steps To Attracting An Army Of Screaming Fans!

step 1

Keep Laser-Focused On Your Goal

Your content should be designed around helping your audience solve a problem, achieve a goal, or better enjoy a hobby. So, to that end, be sure you craft your entire content around that goal. A good way to do this is outline your content first, so you stay laser-focused on the task at hand.

I say this because...

Many info-product creators back themselves into a corner when they sit down and try to write everything on the fly. The product ends up rambling, unfocused, and stuffed with irrelevant fluff!

If you're repeating yourself (and not in a purposeful way to drive home a point), sharing content that's pretentious and doesn't benefit your audience, they'll get bored, irritated, and won't bother to finish reading.

And so, you'll want to make sure your research is thorough, and you organize the structure of your content before you even start writing. Define your content goals and then decide which outline is the best fit.

  1. Chronological, where you share step-by-step information in a "first to last" organization. For example, "The Step-by-Step Guide for Starting Your Own Info-product Business."
  2. Complexity, where you share the easiest information that gets the fastest results first, and later in the product, you share more complex information that takes longer to implement and see results. For example... teaching a dog to sit is quick and easy, whereas teaching a dog to get a can of Coke from the fridge takes longer and is more complex.
  3. Categorical. Here's where you organize information into suitable categories. For example... if you're sharing tips for restoring classic cars, you might organize the tips into categories such as "choosing a project car," "restoring the interior," "fixing what's under the hood" and "restoring the exterior."

Start with one of these outlines and fill it out completely with all the talking points you want to include such as steps, tips, ideas, FAQs, mistakes to avoid, examples and more. This keeps your content focused and makes the writing process easier too.

Next step...

step 2

Create Something Unique

There's an old saying... "there's nothing new under the sun," meaning you're never going to craft content that your niche hasn't written about before. And that's okay. However, you still want to make sure your content is unique, which will engage your audience and keep them coming back for more.

And here are some ways to do just that...

  1. Craft unique information. If you have a unique strategy to share that you've pioneered, that's perfect. Otherwise, you can share unique tips, case studies, relevant stories and examples. Be sure to sprinkle these items throughout your content.
  2. Create a unique formula. I like to turn step-by-step processes into acronyms. This makes the content unique and more memorable. C.U.F. = Create a Unique Formula.
  3. Compare your topic to everyday items. For example, if you're teaching people about organic gardening, you might compare it to cooking, where selecting the right ingredients and tending to it in the right way produces better results. Again, this makes your content both unique and more memorable.

step 3

Crafting Engaging Content

As mentioned, your audience needs to stay engaged, for them to get the full benefit of your content. To that end, follow these tips for doing exactly that...

  • Use a friendly tone. Imagine you're creating this content for a close friend, and use the same friendly and conversational tone.
  • Sprinkle in some light humour. If you can entertain your readers while educating them (AKA "edutainment"), you'll have them soaking up every single word.
  • Engage readers on an emotional level. You can do this by injecting relevant stories into your content, such as sharing how you too overcame similar problems they're going through, and how you now feel duty-bound, to help them  (Knowing the pain your felt during that period of your life nearly ruined you).
  • Craft "you" oriented content. Make sure your content focuses on your audience and how you can help them. As a rough gauge, your content should use words like "you" at least three to four times as much as it uses words like "I" or "me."
step4

Add Value to Your Content

Finally, you'll want to ensure your content is valuable to you audience. So, consider this...

  • Add images. You can add value with relevant images... like, info-graphics, GIFs, charts, tables, illustrations, screenshots, and anything else you can think of.
  • Provide lots of tips and example. You can simplify a process for beginners by providing lots of tips and examples your audience can use to help them apply the info' to their own situation. For example, if you're offering nutritional information for dieters, you might include tips and examples for ingredient substitutions, so dieters can create recipes that fit their tastes and dietary needs.
  • Offer tools. You can make it easier for people to take action on your content by offering tools such as checklists, worksheets, cheat sheets, templates, planners, and similar items.
  • Provide quick wins. Be sure to include quick wins, which is an actionable step that's easy to take and produce quick results. And example is telling copywriters to put their headlines in quotes, which takes a moment to do but will boost conversion rates.

There you go...

You've just discovered a simple process along with plenty of tips for creating high-quality content your customers will die to get a glimpse of.

So make sure you keep this advice handy, and you can put it to work the next time your create a new product.

See you in the next instalment, and don't forget to leave a comment so we can discover even better ways to help you along your chosen path to success!

  1. I appreciate the thorough breakdown of creating high-quality products that truly resonate with your audience. Your step-by-step approach and the emphasis on crafting engaging content are spot on.

As someone who’s ventured into product creation, I’ve found that engaging readers on an emotional level (as mentioned in Step 3) can be particularly powerful in building a connection and trust.

My question is related to providing tools (Step 4). Offering tools like checklists and templates sounds great, but how do you balance providing valuable resources and overwhelming your audience with too much information or complexity?

Additionally, do you have any recommendations for effectively delivering these tools to ensure they are user-friendly and enhance the overall product experience? Your insights on this would be greatly beneficial.

    1. Hey Ashley!

Thrilled to have you back, my awesome friend!

And big kudos for firing off those thought-provoking questions.

So, let’s not waste a second and dive right into the action!

Starting an online business can feel like trying to conquer an epic, towering mountain at first, right?

      But guess what?

We’ve got a game plan that’s going to make that mountain look more like a fun hike.

      Picture this…

The initial steps are like creating a master map for your grand adventure. And if you strike gold during this phase, well, that’s just the cherry on top!

Now, I know folks are often in a rush to skip ahead, but here’s the deal – the traditional way might take some time (decades even!), but fear not!

There are hacks and shortcuts that can turbocharge your journey (Ask me).

      You see…

these tools for simplifying the most complex systems are like a buffet.

You don’t have to gulp down everything at once… take your time and savor each dish one at a time. It’s when folks try to eat the entire buffet in one go that things seem overwhelming (believe it or not, it happens!).

So, Ashley, get ready to embark on this epic journey with a killer map in hand.

We’re here to make it an exhilarating ride!

See you on the flip side, we’re always in your corner…

  2. Hey there, I found your article super informative, especially the part about crafting engaging content. The whole “edutainment” idea is golden, but I have a question. How do you strike the balance between being informative and entertaining without diluting the main message? I sometimes find myself getting too carried away with humor and stories, and I feel like the actual point gets a bit lost.

Also, you talk about adding value with relevant images and examples, but what’s your take on videos? Do you think embedding tutorial or explainer videos can boost the overall quality and engagement levels?
    Lou.

    1. Hey there, Lou!

It’s awesome to hear you enjoyed the article “Quality Products Your Customers Would Die For.” We’re all about serving you the freshest, most actionable insights in the game!

      But here’s the kicker…

This isn’t just passive consumption material.

      No way!

This stuff’s like jet fuel for your success rocket – put it into action ASAP, and you’ll see results that’ll make your head spin.

Now, let’s dive into your burning question…

When it comes to injecting humor and stories into your game plan, the secret sauce is making it laser-focused on what you’re selling.

Take, for instance, my recent client project, where I shared the incredible journey of my dog, Dante, from a troubled past to a fearless dynamo.

This heartwarming tale seamlessly led to a membership site that fixed past issues and ignited a brand-new, vibrant life for folks to savor.

      But hold on, Lou…

The real magic happens when your video syncs up with your other content like a well-oiled machine. You’re catering to different folks here – some love visuals, others are all about touch and feel, and some are total auditory aficionados. A juicy blend of all these is the name of the game!

Hope this serves you well, Lou.

Wishing you nothing but success – we’ve got your back!
